11/14/12 Shapell Kendrick

On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at approximately 8:00 am, the Red Bank Police Department responded to 97 West Sunset Avenue for a report that someone had been killed. On location, 32-year-old Camden resident, Shapell “Muh” Kendrick, was found suffering from several gunshot wounds. Mr. Kendrick died as a result of those wounds. The victim had reportedly been in Red Bank visiting relatives. Mr. Kendrick’s death has been ruled a homicide.

9/21/12 Dericke Williams
On September 21, 2012, at approximately 12:15 a.m. the Asbury Park Police Department responded to the area of Sixth Avenue and Bond Street for a shooting. Police were alerted to the victim’s body by a cab driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

9/14/12 Nijed Johnson

On Friday, September 14, 2012, at approximately 3:00 PM, the Asbury Park Police Department responded to 1024 Sewall Avenue, Asbury Park, for a report of a shooting. Nijed Johnson Responding officers found that Nijed Johnson, 24 years of age, was the victim of a shooting at that location. Witnesses reported that Nijed Johnson was sitting on the porch of 1024 Sewall Avenue with his girlfriend, when a subject on a bike fired several shots in their direction. Nijed Johnson assisted his girlfriend into the home, but was struck while doing so. Nijed Johnson was transported to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he died as a result of his wounds.

2/10/12 Travis Keys

On Friday, February 10, 2012, the Freehold Borough Police Department responded to 20 Travis KeysJackson Street, Freehold Borough, New Jersey, for a report of an unresponsive male subject. Upon arrival, patrols located the victim identified as Travis Keys. It was discovered that the victim had suffered from a single stab wound and was subsequently pronounced deceased at CentraState Medical Center.

On May 27, 2011, at approximately 4:01 a.m., the victim was struck by two bullets, which were fired by an unknown assailant who was riding a bicycle in the area of Dewitt and Springwood Avenues, Asbury Park. The victim was pronounced dead at Jersey Shore University Medical Center at 8:27 p.m. by Dr. Christensen.

12/24/07 Cesar Torralba

On December 24, 2007 the Asbury Park Police Department responded to an apartment building in Asbury Park after receiving a 911 call reporting an individual who had been shot. Upon arrival, Police learned that the victim’s girlfriend had asked her neighbor to call an ambulance after locating the victim, Cesar Torralba.

The investigation revealed that the victim was arriving home when he was approached by a black male, believed to have been wearing a dark hooded jacket or sweatshirt, who brandished a gun and shot the victim once, killing him.

The Murder occurred within the hallway of an apartment building during the daytime hours of Christmas Eve. As such, Police believed that residents and/or visitors may have seen the individual either while in the hallway or while fleeing from the apartment building.

9/10/07 Derrell Alexander & Tiffanie Watkins
In the evening hours on September 10, 2007, Derrell Alexander and Tiffany Watkins were in the front of their residence at 1813 Columbus Avenue, Neptune, NJ, when they were both shot. Both victims were shot multiple times. Watkins was discovered on the front porch of the home and Alexander was found close by. Tiffany Watkins and Derrell Alexander both later succumbed to their injuries. It is believed that there are witnesses to the homicide both during and subsequent to the shooting that have yet to come forward.

1/26/07 Freddie C. Geddes
On January 26, 2007, at approximately 12:15 a.m. the Tinton Falls Police Department responded to 83B Squankum Road for a shooting. Upon arrival, police located Freddie C. Geddes who had been shot and killed. The investigation revealed that two men entered the home, killed Geddes, tied up his girlfriend, and stole valuable items from the home.

12/20/06 Patricia DaSilva
On December 20, 2006, at approximately 2:46 p.m., the Long Branch Police Department responded to Trans Brasil Travel for a report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, Patricia DaSilva, 21, was found deceased. The incident was ultimately ruled a homicide.
