FREEHOLD – Law enforcement officials are seeking a male suspect in connection with an armed bank robbery in Marlboro on Sunday evening, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

On Sunday evening, March 31, at approximately 7:12 p.m., the Marlboro Police Department received a 911 call from an ATM service technician who had just been robbed at gun point from the Chase Manhattan Bank at 146 Route 9 North. The male suspect stole a significant amount of cash. Video footage from local businesses shows the suspect exiting a black Mercedes SUV from a business on the southbound side of Route 9 and walking across the highway towards the bank.   

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
